Title:	Playground Officer
Objectives:	Ensure that the playground area is kept to an acceptable standard of appearance & that all equipment is maintained to be in a safe condition.
Key Responsibilities:	Carry out regular inspections (minimum 6 per year) Disable or remove any equipment considered to be dangerous Check that area is free of litter Arrange for grass to be cut as necessary Check that the gate is working Check that the surrounding wall & parapet do not represent a danger Provide reports to Parish Council Consult with parents Provide recommendations for improvements Arrange for maintenance or replacement of equipment
Other Notes:	Consider improvement opportunities, such as adding some modern equipment or adding safety surfaces.
